Saturday Morning Live

This series for children in grades K-2 is designed to encourage joy in and enthusiasm for reading through stories, crafts, and fun activities on special themes.  It is held on selected Saturdays during the school year from 11:00 to 11:30 am. Friends of Southern Pines Public Library sponsor the series.

Join us for a toe-tapping good time on Saturday, November 15, 2008, when the library will present I've Got the Music in Me! (PDF). Listen to stories, dance to music and make your own instruments!

Some little ducks joined us for a "quacking" good time on Saturday, September 13, 2008, when the library presented "Down on the Farm" (PDF).

We had a swimmingly-good time when the library presented "Pond Friends" (PDF) with stories, songs, crafts and fun on Saturday, April 19, 2008.

A "doggone" good time was had by all on Saturday, January 26, 2008, when Saturday Morning Live presented "Going to the Dogs" (PDF). We enjoyed stories, songs, and crafts with our canine friends.

Kids in grades K-2 were "blown over" when Saturday Morning Live presented "What's the Weather?" (PDF) on Saturday, November 17, 2007.
