Young Adult Readers' Program
The Young Adult Readers’ Program meets every third Tuesday of the month. Grades 6-12 welcome!
The Young Adult Readers' program (grades 6-12) continues on Tues. Dec. 17 at 5:30th with Pass the Pen, a writing game where we not only share stories, but we share in the creation of each story by writing a few lines and passing it to the next person to continue the tale! We will explore different themes and genres, and by the end, each person will have a stack of stories to take home for the holidays!
Get into the spirit of National Novel Writing Month! In celebration of NaNoWriMo, join us Tuesday, November 19th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, for a workshop on creating graphic novel and comic book characters with local cartoonist Laurel Holden!
Celebrate Teen Read Week as we Seek the Unknown. Have you wanted to write fiction but can’t find the time or inspiration? Join us October 15 at 5:30 pm for an evening of flash fiction writing, and we will find something to inspire you!
Join us on Tuesday, September 17, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm for our kickoff of the Young Adult Readers' program (grades 6-12) for the school year. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! Have you ever wondered what else you could do with your used milk or orange juice carton or used magazines? Bring an old friend, meet a new friend, and make something new from something old!
