Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
Membership Objectives and Guidelines 
The main objective of TAB is to involve young adults in the functioning of the library by seeking their ideas on programs and services specifically for teens, thereby improving young adult services at the Southern Pines Public Library.
Possible tasks for a TAB member:
- Plan, execute, and attend programs
- Publicize young adult activities to peers
- Publish booklists, bookmarks, and other promotional materials
- Help create an inviting young adult atmosphere in the library
- Assist with children’s programs
Benefits of TAB membership: 
- Have your ideas matter
- Become involved in your community
- Looks good on resumes and college applications
Board members must:
- Be a student in grades 9-12
- Have a Southern Pines Library card in good standing or be willing to obtain one
- Attend meetings, programs, and projects
