Summer Reading Program for Grades 6-8
(grade you are entering next year)
Registration for Summer Reading for grades K-5 (PDF) and for grades 6-8 (PDF) is now available online.
Please come into the library to pick up a registration bag and to sign up for book clubs.
The Band of Bookies (PDF)
When registering for Summer Reading, serious readers in grades 6-8 can also join the book club. The Band of Bookies will meet 3 times during the summer for fun activities and book discussion. Space is limited to 30 members so pre-registration is encouraged. Children who - in addition to meeting their reading goal - attend 2 of the 3 programs will be awarded a special prize.
Club meetings will be held on Thursdays at 11 am on June 15, July 20, and August 10.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 18 @ 5:30pm: Drumming Circle
Experience the culture of Africa and learn basic rhythms on djembe and dundun drums!
