Summer Reading Program
The 2008 Summer Reading Program (PDF) will be held June16 through August 22: "Catch the Reading Bug!" for grades K-5.To register, decide on the number of books (audio books count, too!) you will attempt to read -or listen to- over the summer. Great prize bags await all who reach their goal at the program’s end! Registration begins June 16, 2008.
Program Schedule: You are welcome to attend any or all of the programs, regardless of whether or not you are registered for the Summer Reading Program!
Wednesday, June 25 @ 11:00am: Summer Reading Kickoff: 
Brightstar Children’s Theater presents “Sadie's Spectacular Saturday" (PDF). Sadie the caterpillar has turned over a new leaf at a brand new school. Watch as she learns a lesson about friendship with the help of a ladybug, a cockroach, and a sunflower.
Tuesday, July 8 @ 11:00am: Bug Safari!
Have you heard the buzz? It's a Bug Safari (PDF)! The library is the place to be for lots of buggy facts and fun. You’d be crazy as a bedbug to miss it!
Tuesday, July 22 @ 11:00pm: Alberti Flea Circus!
The Alberti Flea Circus (PDF) is coming to the library! See Harry the Hurdler jump three hurdles! Thrill as Captain Spaulding is shot from a cannon! Marvel as the darling Dardenell does a high dive into a can of water! Uh...did we mention that these are fleas?
