Read to Your Bunny

The Preschool Read to Your Bunny Storytime Program (PDF) is a series of programs for children and their parents or caregivers held at the library. The programs are designed for children ages birth-5. Trained library staff members also present Read to Your Bunny  programs for children and caregivers in childcare facilities and preschools in Southern Pines.

Designed for everyone from infants to teenagers, this new form of “entertainment-education” helps kids discover the joy of reading by introducing books in a format they love - electronic story books. Tumblebooks combines the tradition of a good storyline with animation, sound, music, and narration in different formats:story books, online audio books, interactive games, puzzles, and quizzes. Age-appropriate selections range from easy readers to chapter books, young adult selections, non-fiction titles, Spanish and French language learners, and 60 foreign language titles in Spanish, French, Russian, and Chinese.
