Pizza with Pizzazz

Are you a middle school student (grades 6-8)? If so, you might be interested in coming to Pizza with Pizzazz at the library.

Pizza with Pizzazz meets monthly during the school year to enjoy pizza, games, crafts, and socialization. Topics are fun and trendy, yet each one showcases library resources in some way. Programs run on selected Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.

Pizza with Pizzazz will present Valentine Craft-o-Rama! (PDF) on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Make duct tape roses and iPod valentines. Then enjoy pizza with your friends.

Pizza with Pizzazz will present Game Night (PDF) on Tuesday, January 10, 2012.  Eat free pizza and compete against your friends on Xbox 360.  Participants are welcome to BYOG (Bring Your Own Games) as long as they're rated "E" or "T."

Pizza with Pizzazz presented Warrior Cats (PDF) on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Who doesn’t love the adventure series by Erin Hunter where warrior cat clans roam and rule the wild? Discover your clan, play games, make crafts, and eat free pizza.

Pizza with Pizzazz presented Dare to Be Scared (PDF) on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Make spooky snacks and then get ready for haunting ghost tales that will tingle the spine. Tell your own tale of horror or just sit back and listen. Free pizza!

Play the game "Angry Birds"?  On Tuesday, September 13, 2011, Pizza with Pizazz presented "Angry Birds on the Loose" (PDF). Create your favorite Angry Birds character with pom-poms and make them fly with rubber band launchers!

We will give you something to chew on! Pizza with Pizzazz presented "Chew on This"(PDF) on Tuesday, May 11, 2011. Make sculptures and artwork out of chewing gum and stick around to hear all about the 2011 Summer Reading Program, "You Are Here!".

Are you up for hanging out with your peeps? Pizza with Pizzazz presented "Peep Show" (PDF) on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Make a diorama of your favorite book using marshmallow chicks and rabbits as the characters. You could win a cash prize!

Pizza with Pizzaz presented "Tricky Pix" (PDF) on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Shutterbugs learned how to make ordinary photos extraordinary. Make your models headless or 8 feet tall -- just picture it!
